Needed my clutch doing on my Audi A3 and had a scout around Cardiff for places to change it over. I know this is not an easy job at all and had loads of quotes way over the odds. Whole street outside looks like a scrap yard with their cars left dumped everywhere. They leave your car on the street unsecured. You can see broken glass on the pavement where cars have been broken into. Service is slow and not that cheap. Avoid.

Nice guys but total chaos again, days work lost ! vehicle not touched it sat there from 8am to 5 without a phone call to say they didn't have time to look at it, even though it was booked in weeks ago. Never again.

Previously had them check why my AC wasn't working atall, I had suspected a bad connection since it never takes power off the engine to run. They charge me for 'looking' at the issue of the heater. At no point did i mention any term regarding the heater. as a bonus, the heater worked fine before, but was returned whistling. I said to myself, fine they lose out on my next MOT&Service. Returned a year later hoping for a better experience and had my car in with the check engine light on (~2 months ago) and was quoted about £400 for all the repairs & labour after they had look around the engine. I figured that was reasonable for what was work needed doing. Went to pick up my car a week later only to be charged double that (£819). Not once was I called about the agreed amount being exceeded. I begrudgingly paid the full amount. Today I found that they had broken/removed the bonnet pull release and not put it back, nor told me about this.

Had a problem with my air conditioning system not cooling then after a system recharge it only lasted a while. Took it to D&S who diagnosed the problem stone damage/puncture to the condenser. All fixed professionally with quality replacement parts at good value. Must say its been a real benefit during this hot spell lately so much cooler in the cockpit on recent long trips. Took my Z4 here for the airbag light after having a BMW “Specialist” misdiagnose it & would’ve massively overcharged for the work. Had the car in & work done so much quicker than the “specialist” at a fraction of the cost. The guys were nice & decent too

I had an issue with the Idrive Connect system on my BMW, was recommended D&S Automotive, after phoning many dealers & specialist garages who were reluctant to give me a ball park figure to investigate and repair, even though its a common fault. Dan from D&S explained they had a good percentage success rate with repairing this issue, so was honest and up front, I dropped the car off on the Thurs afternoon, they called me on the Friday morning to inform me it was repaired. It’s a busy garage, which to me shows they are good with realistic prices, and professional staff. keep up the good work & I will gladly recommend to others👍🏻

phoned in as my car had broken down, not expecting them to have time to fix it for a few days, but they had fixed it all for me within the day, even though I could see they were all super busy. The staff are all lovely and super helpful. Couldn’t recommend more.

Fixed in 24 hours what the main dealer previously said could not be fixed & needed 3 months to source the part. Honest & friendly people - say what they’re going to do, in how long and for how much, then deliver on it. What more could you ask for?
