Went to view Nazareth house to see if it was potentially suitable for my grandad. First impressions were great. Staff seemed welcoming and the tour of the building seems great too. We wasn’t shown the bedrooms properly and had a quick 2 second look from outside and wasn’t able to go into any bedrooms for some reason as some were unoccupied? Overall we liked the care home and after discussing my grandads needs with the manager (Laura) and telling her everything about him all seemed great and she was getting the ball rolling for us. We were told by Laura she would need to complete a assessment and this could be done in a few days and made us feel as if he could finally be in a care home within a week! During the next three weeks she kept us waiting. Wouldn’t answer our phone calls. We were told by reception staff she was in meeting or busy. The next day told she was off work sick. Then we were told her car was in the garage. So over the space of three weeks we had nothing but problems and being messed around. In the meantime still waiting for care for my granddad which she obviously didn’t care much for. She decided to change her mind and say actually they cannot cater for his needs and didn’t even acknowledge his care plan first. Disgusting!!! Would not recommend.

Good place for the elderly. Care given here is excellent. Also, they have a beautiful Catholic church within the building. Good place to go if you need some time to pray and reflect. Also the garden outside is quite nice, especially for a good stroll in summer days.

Many years ago single mothers were brought here from all over the country to have their babies. The babies were sold to rich FAMILIES in Wales. Adults now searching for answers of their family and siblings. ADOPTION on partners notes all black markered out . Found information on the biological mother who had a further 2 children. Mother died 1 year before finding Her in 2010. father's name scribbled out.

Absolutely fabulous Care home. The staff are dedicated and truly wonderful. The only home I would gladly live in.
