I was lucky to be gifted some beautiful Japanese wood block prints and knew they needed to be framed professionally and sympathetically. I made an appointment to see Alon and took them along ! What can I say - Alon is an artist! Together we chose the mounts and frames that complimented each print . Last night Alon arrived to hang the prints- not only did my new prints get hung beautifully but he quided me to move my existing art work around my home to create a totally different effect and it has literally transformed my home and the ambience. We went to Cathays Picture Framing & Gallery to frame some prints of our favourite wedding photos. We met with Alon, who showed us all the different kinds of frames + mounts. He gave excellent suggestions on the colours that would best highlight our photos, including a double-mount option. We also chose the art glass option. The end results are incredible! Our photos pop, and the frames are exceptional quality. The customer service from Alon was brilliant too - he made us feel very welcome, and his advice was invaluable! The service from the initial phone call to arrange an appointment for an estimate of the work to obtaining the painting and print framed was excellent. I was given good advice about frames and mounts and my views were considered. The addition of transferring the original sign and the certificate of origin to the backs of the frames was very welcome. I cannot recommend the services of Cathays Picture Framing & Gallery enough. The service from Alon was superb - he helped us print and frame some university graduation photos and the final products are amazing! We just love looking at them. His knowledge in pairing the perfect frames and borders for our photos is phenomenal. The options available are vast. I will definitely be coming back when I need my next set of photos framed!!

I cannot recommend Alon highly enough. Once again, I asked him to advise me about reframing four more tapestries made for me by my mother. These are replica William Morris tiles. Alon at Cathay's Picture Framing & Gallery recently restored a old family art work (over 40 years old) and heavily impacted by years of dust, smoke etc - the work was amazing and has brought the picture back to life - I can't thank them enough and would recommend their services.
